  • Baseball All-Star Game – Along with the World Series, this is Major League Baseball’s premier event, with the top stars from the American and National League facing off. The game is more than just a showcase of baseball’s best players; recently it has taken on added significance, in that the winner of the game also wins home-field advantage for their league for the World Series. ‹‹ Learn More ››
  • BCS Championship – In early January the Rose Bowl Stadium will host the final college bowl game of the season. At stake is the national college football championship. Teams are selected in early December. Tickets to the game can be upgraded to the lower area of the endzone or sidelines at a surcharge. ‹‹ Learn More ››
  • Cherry Blossom Festival – The National Cherry Blossom Parade begins at 10am on Saturday, April 4 and proceeds along Constitution Ave. from 16th Street to 7th Street.   • Christmas in New York – Thanksgiving to December 31 is the city’s busiest time. New York is aglow with the sights and sounds of the Holiday Season.   • Mardi Gras – Although parade schedules may change, these four days have the best parades, locally known as Krewes, including Rex, Bacchus and Endymion. The origins of Mardi Gras can be traced to Medieval Europe though we have no written record of how that transformed into the Mardi Gras of today.   • New Years Eve in New York – For those who have watched this event on TV for so many years, this is truly something you have got to see, up close and personal, a once in a lifetime experience! Both hotels are located in the heart of Times Square in the “Greatest City in the World.” The Marriott is on Broadway at 46th Street and the Crowne Plaza is on Broadway at 49th Street. You literally walk out of either hotel and into Times Square.   • Rose Parade – On January 1, the eyes of the world turn to the Rose Parade in Pasadena, CA for a spectacular display of magnificent floral floats, talented marching bands and high-stepping equestrian units. The Tournament of Roses celebration dates back to 1890, when the Pasadena Valley Hunt Club readied their horse-drawn coaches with fresh-cut flowers from their gardens in celebration of the mild winter weather of the West.   • Sugar Bowl – The Sugar Bowl Game, as part of the Bowl Championship Series, is one of four Bowl games that help determine the National Champion college football team.
